Microsoft Entra ID App install

Install the Weflow app in Microsoft Entra ID so Weflow can connect to Microsoft 365 for your users, and control who gets access with user and group assignment.

Weflow connects to Microsoft 365 through an enterprise application in your Microsoft Entra ID tenant. This guide is for your Microsoft admin. It explains how to install the Weflow app from the Weflow admin console, then require assignment in Entra so only the users and groups you choose can use it.

Before you start: You’ll need a Microsoft admin who can approve enterprise apps for your organization, such as a Global Admin, Cloud Application Admin or Application Admin. They’ll also need access to the Weflow admin console, which uses Salesforce sign-in. The install must be started from Weflow, not set up by hand in Entra, so Weflow gets the callback it needs to confirm the connection works:

1. Sign into the Weflow admin console (with a SFDC account)
2. Go to https://app.getweflow.app/admin-console/system-overview/
3. Scroll down to the Microsoft "Connect" button
4. Click on "Connect" and accept the installation
5. Go to entra.microsoft.com > Enterprise Apps > Weflow and enable "Assignment Required" (see below):

6. Add any users/groups that should be added to the Entra ID app

The only item to look out for, is that they need to sign into Weflow to trigger the install. This allows us to receive a proper callback and verify that everything works as expected. Manually setting up the Entra ID app on their behalf will not suffice.
