Recording Zoom Meetings

How the Weflow notetaker joins and records Zoom meetings: no authentication needed, local recording enabled by the admin, and admission from the lobby.

Setup

  • There is no need to authenticate Weflow with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx or Google Meet specifically.

  • For Zoom, the local recordings need to be enabled by the admin.

  • Admins can do this via the Account Management > Account Settings > Recordings & Transcripts

Recording Behavior

  • No recording permission is needed for Zoom meetings.

  • This means that as long as the bot is in the call, it will be able to record.

Joining Behavior

  • By default, the bots will need to be let in from the lobby.

  • The host can require that all participants (incl. the recording bot) enter through the waiting room.
